We’re absolutely thrilled to see everyone at the stunning Griffin House in Hood River, Oregon in 2026.

There will be a full invitation with detailed information to follow, but here’s what we can tell you now…

FAQs

TLDR: If you’re positive you’re coming to the wedding, consider booking a hotel now.

There’s a limited block of 10 rooms available now at the Hood River Hotel.

  • The wedding will take place in Hood River, Oregon, about an hour east of Portland in the Columbia River Valley Gorge. The ceremony and reception will be held at the Griffin House (4168 Westcliff Dr, Hood River, OR 97031).

  • Hood River is easily accessible by car from Portland (~1 hour), and is a beautiful drive that winds along the river. Public transportation includes the Columbia Gorge Express, Amtrak, or Greyhound.

Venue parking is very limited, please do not plan to drive to the venue! We will be running a shuttle to and from the wedding, picking up and dropping off at our preferred hotels. Early and late night shuttle options will be available for responsible people and heathens.

Note that rideshare is currently very limited in Hood River.

  • We’re currently finalizing our hotel blocks, but have a small block secured at the Hood River Hotel, and anticipate setting up shop at the Hampton Inn, and the soon-to-open Lightwell Hotel. All are within walking distance of one another.

If you know you’re coming, please use our booking link for preferred rates (more to come w/ official invite).

If you choose to book an AirBnB or alternate lodging, we recommend that you stay within the vicinity of the above hotels for ease of access to shuttle service.

  • As much as we love, love, LOVE your kiddos, this will not be a child-friendly wedding. There will be an open-bar, and we’re next to a cliff. Let’s keep everyone safe!

  • Pretty casual, my dudes. We’re planning on dressing up to celebrate, but come as you are and how you feel comfy.

The venue is primarily outdoors, the Gorge is usually windy, and PNW evenings can get chilly; June is typically beautiful, but plan accordingly for the weather, and consider leaving the stilettos at home.

  • Because it’s a destination for most, we’d recommend staying at least the night of the 5th, as well.

Hood River/the Gorge offer amazing nature and hiking opportunities, sailing, swimming, breweries, bars, food, shopping…all the things you’d expect from a cute quaint downtown. We’ll be sure to include a list of our favorite things near Hood River closer to the date.

  • When you receive the formal invitation, there will be a link on this website to RSVP, how many we can expect in your party, dietary restrictions, etc.

See you
in the Gorge!
